Hoki Pokey

We're smitten with these brand-new, just in from Israel (how often do you hear THAT?) HOKI sandals. Juicy colors make them an easy pick-me-up, and the soft recycled plastic & orthopedic soles mean they are actually a comfy alternative to the knee-killing ubiquitous flip-flop. You may recognize the criss-cross style as a mainstay of your grandpa's wardrobe- they're a funny twist on a 70's classic, resurrected by an adventurous former ad exec with a keen eye for style. Shlomit Slavin bought the molds for the classic shoe and had them cast in brights like purple and turquoise, a far cry from the dusty brown and black versions she spotted on Joffa Road. Available now.

We Love Lucky/Lucky Loves Us!

Luckymag.com is the online brainchild of Lucky magazine, and we love referring to it for everything from obsessive beauty tips to amazing shopping guides for cities around the globe. Last week, Luckymag.com cutie Violet Gaynor listed Ravinstyle.com as her 'current online obsession'. Seeing as she was selected as the 'cute outfit of the day' snapshot, we're taking it as one of the best compliments ever! She highlighted Richard Ruiz and Cri de Coeur's collections as worth taking a peek at, and we couldn't agree more. Thanks, Violet!

Meet Pamela Thompson

Inspired by marionettes and Mary Pickford, and with buddies like Betsy Johnson and the Heatherette boys (she was head designer at both houses), Pamela Thompson's debut collection of dresses is surely the launching pad for some serious fashion chatter. Check out this interview with her in online magazine Papierdoll.
Her darling dresses can be viewed here- we can't wait to see what she cooks up for fall!
